Ames Bronze Award

•             The Evil Plastic Bags

•             Work towards Collecting and recycling bags from family and friends

•             Set up a Recycle station at Ames to be collected on a weekly basis

•             Find out where the recyclable bags go to.

•             Participate in craft projects based with plastic grocery bags.

•             Educated others : contact newspaper

•             Plan a Recycle Jamboree for scout family and Friends in the spring.

April 28^th: Final Project : Recycle Jamboree at Boy Scout Cabin.  Girls will receive their Bronze awards here. Bonfire, songs, maybe a craft or two , smores , refreshments…. Families and fun

*Because this is a year long project the girls tasks will be broken off and given to small groups of girls….

  Other girls are relying on them to complete their portion of the project.  Please stress this to the girls….
